Our brand is known for its smooth, buttery texture achieved through natural, cold crystallization—our manuka is never heat-treated. Each batch is independently tested for over 26 unique markers, including MGO, to verify authenticity, potency, and purity, so you know exactly what you’re getting in every spoonful. The 'secret sauce' of Manuka honey is the natural property called MGO (or methylglyoxal) which is only found in high levels in Manuka honey which makes the honey antibacterial. This antibacterial activity lasts for years in Manuka honey (unlike normal honey where the antibacterial activity declines quickly over time).
Manuka honey is prized for its unique health benefits and versatility. Rich in MGO, antioxidants, and polyphenols, it’s commonly used to support wound healing, soothe sore throats, aid digestion, and boost the immune system. Many also apply it to the skin to help with acne, inflammation, and hydration, thanks to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
